As an international branded company, we produce high-quality food. We see it as our duty to employ the quantities of energy that we use for our products and their life cycles sensibly and in moderation.

Our audited energy management system is engaged in reducing the use of fossil fuels and pushing heat recovery measures, but also constantly tracking fresh water and waste water consumption, as well as generating our own electricity and heat using cogeneration modules. We ensure a sustainable path for the milk – from the acceptance of raw milk to long-distance transport in Germany – and customised light with new LED lamps. And we also focus on sustainability in the area of packaging by, for example, using FSC-certified corrugated and solid cardboard for the cardboard packaging. For our goal is to make an effective contribution to a balanced environmental footprint, especially in view of the globalisation of the markets.
