Ecological, social and societal aspects form important pillars of our actions and are an expression of our sustainable entrepreneurship. We are already implementing numerous measures to this end.
Living the joy of milk and cows
More than 10 years ago, we initiated a sustainability program aimed specifically at Zott's milk suppliers. It focuses on animal health and the sustainable production of milk and successfully reconciles animal welfare and profitability.
Step by step towards a sustainable future
Our audited energy management system is not only concerned with reducing the use of fossil fuels. Heat recovery measures and the tracking of fresh water and waste water consumption are also part of our measures. We also generate our own electricity and heat using block heating modules.
Quality comes first
As one of the leading companies in the food industry, it is our goal to always fulfill the wishes and requirements of our customers. It goes without saying that we strictly adhere to legal standards and regulations. Independent institutions and auditors therefore regularly check the food safety and hygiene of our dairy and its sites.
We at Zott
As a responsible company, we exemplify social commitment and encourage our employees to become active through corporate volunteering. We support regional projects such as the food banks or the Bunte Kreis (colorful circle) for the care of families with children suffering from cancer and serious illnesses.
