Our whistleblowing system

Compliance with statutory requirements and internal rules is our top priority. Violations must be identified at an early stage in order to initiate appropriate countermeasures and avert damage. Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to obtain knowledge of possible misconduct by employees or contractual partners, therefore we have set up a whistleblowing system.

The whistleblowing system is managed by BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Within the framework of this reporting system, the following ombudspersons (lawyers of confidence) are available to you:

1. Ombudsperson

Jesko Trahms

Attorney at Law

2. Ombudsperson

Dr. Andy Breitner

Attorney at Law

3. Ombudsperson

Dr. Cora Keller

Attorney at Law

Due to the lawyer's duty of confidentiality and the lawyer's right to refuse to testify, it is guaranteed that the whistleblowers identity is reliably protected.

What can you report?

You can report any alleged violations committed by Zott Group employees in connection with their employment or committed by Zott Group contractors, such as suppliers. Violations may be against any law or internal regulation.

Please note that questions or complaints about our products cannot be handled here. Please use our contact form for this purpose.

How can you submit a report to the whistleblowing system?

Telephone hotline

You can submit reports during the usual business hours (Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00) via the following telephone number: +49 211-9232470-7.

On the hotline, please state the name of the company about which you wish to make a report. You will then be connected to an ombudsperson. Your reports can be received by telephone in German and English.

Online report

You also have the option of submitting a report in different languages via a protected, Internet-based communication platform. The system is confidential and protected. Further information and access to the Internet-based whistleblowing system is available here.

Postal address

You can also contact the ombudspersons in writing at the following address:

BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH

Zielstattstrasse 40

81379 Munich

E-mail

You can also send reports by e-mail to the following address: [email protected].

To ensure your anonymity, we recommend that you submit a report via the Internet-based whistleblowing system.

How will your report be processed?

After receipt of your report, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt via the contact option you provided within the legally prescribed period. If you submit a report via the Internet-based whistleblowing system, you will immediately receive a confirmation code as confirmation of receipt. The ombudsperson will inform our contact persons about the content of the report. Your identity will only be disclosed to us with your prior consent. After carefully reviewing the report, our contact persons will decide on the further course of action and on suitable investigative and follow-up measures. You will be informed of any measures that have been initiated within the framework of the legal requirements.

How can you submit your report anonymously?

In principle, you can submit your report anonymously. However, we would appreciate it if you would provide the ombudsperson with your contact information, as many investigations can be handled more quickly and effectively this way.

To further protect your confidentiality, please consider the following points:

If you wish to remain anonymous, do not provide any personal information, such as your name or relationship to those involved. Also, do not provide any data that would allow conclusions to be drawn about your person.

If possible, do not use any technical device (e.g. PC, laptop, smartphone) provided by your employer. An intranet connection in particular may jeopardize your anonymity.

Enter the link to the whistleblowing system directly in the address line of your browser and, if necessary, set a bookmark so that you can call up the system again later on

Make sure you have a secure Internet connection, represented by the lock icon next to the address bar.

Use a Tor browser if necessary.
